Residents of Kanawha City, the West Side and the East End of Charleston turned out on Saturday for a Community Trash Clean Up day. Part of attracting people to live in our communities is making our communities attractive places people want to live. Nancy joined her Kanawha Ctiy neighbors in cleaning up trash along MacCorkle Avenue. |

Cedar Grove Middle School student council members and Mayors of Eastern Kanawha County teamed up to host a Meet the Candidates forum.
Principal Charlie Mays wanted to engage Cedar Grove students in the election process to demonstrate how easy it is for each of them to have a voice in shaping the future path our state takes. Moderator for the event was Amanda Barren of WSAZ-TV.

| Our first fundraising effort in the Vote Nancy Guthrie campaign was held at Taylor Books on Capitol Street in downtown Charleston. Taylor Books is one of the best examples of what Main Streets in West Virginia can look like. |
